Peanut Butter Cookies

My mom has been making these cookies for my entire life. They are my dad's absolute favorite. They are super simple to make and melt in your mouth.Ingredients:

1 c. shortening

1 c. sugar

1 c. light brown sugar

2 tsp. baking soda

2 eggs

1 c. creamy peanut butter

1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2-3/4 bag of peanut butter morsels

Directions:

- Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla together in a mixer.

- In a separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda.

- Slowly add flour mixture to the wet mixture.

- Stir in peanut butter and morsels

- Spoon cookies onto a baking sheet.

- Make pattern on top of cookies with a fork.

- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-11 mins.
