Shortbread

I am a HUGE fan of shortbread cookies so when I came across my aunt Shari's recipe while thumbing through my mom's cookbook I knew I had to make them. It is really easy but I haven't quite mastered the presentation part. Growing up my grandma would make shortbread, cut it into big chunks and we would just break pieces off. So, that's how I did it too. I don't care what they look like....they taste so good!

Ingredients:
3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks of butter

Directions:
- In an electric mixer cream sugar and butter.
- Gradually add the flour.
- Roll the dough out on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes or until it starts to turn golden brown.
