Homemade Applesauce

Cole and I made homemade Applesauce during his Letter "A" week and it was too good not to share. It is so easy that I might never eat store bought applesauce again!Ingredients:

5-6 apples, peeled and cut into slices {the thinner the slice the faster they cook}
1/2 c water
1/2 to 1 c. sugar
cinnamon to taste

Directions:

- Pour water into the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add sliced apples, sugar and cinnamon.
- Cover and cook on low until apples are soft, about 5-6 hours.
- Mash apples with a potato masher to desired consistency. {I left mine a little chunky}
- Add more cinnamon and sugar if needed.
- Eat, warm, cold or over ice cream!
